Having previously watched the Grebes' courtship dances, their nest building and egg laying, it was a real treat to finally see them out on the river with their new family.
Another afternoon by the river with Brian, and Liane this time. Cameras at the ready we were lucky to have some breaks in the clouds and the Grebes came out to play.
Also joining the scene were a family of mallards with ducklings and a mute swan came along to see what the fuss was about.
